Get ready for an exciting 'tech for good' coding journey using data to help our planet on a path to Net Zero!

Available as a FREE virtual learning experience to all UK secondary schools for students aged 11-14 years during March 2025 as part of our Bupa Coding Days.

Students in this ages range will love our 'Grover the Rover' activity.

Session 1 is computer-game-style programming of a rover, driving it around a virtual school based on their own, and collecting environmental data ... and using the wonderful VEXcode Switch environment, they can choose between block coding or python to write their code!

Session 2 is about analysing the data using our macro-enabled Boop! spreadsheet, as well as thinking about how to improve the schools environmental impact. What will they choose as their environmental unit of measure ... trees absorbing carbon dioxide, or cows emitting methane!

For more information on this curriculum-aligned, high-octane (and low carbon), fun coding adventure and how your school can sign up for a FREE session, please visit: https://www.getwiththeprogram.org.uk/bupa
