We had a wonderful day at Harwell yesterday at the Science Technology Facilities Council site taking part in an open day.
The Rutherford Appleton Laboratory is hosting a huge open week event this year which started today, Tuesday 25th June with Schools Day. An estimated 1,200 KS2-KS5 students visited and it was so great to meet as many as we could. We talk about Get with the Program, showed them our Program Each Other unplugged activity, and talked about how we inclusively inspire the tech innovators of the future (oh, and we also had fun with AL the Robot 🤖).
The events continue throughout the week with another schools day today, Wednesday 26 June (sadly we're not able to join in as we're elsehwere) and a Public Day on Saturday 29 June where a whopping 16,000 members of the public are expected to visit!
